Happy Holidays from Nordic Surrogacy!

Becoming a parent through surrogacy is an emotional journey. Involuntary childlessness, independent of the reason, is something that we at Nordic Surrogacy have both personal and professional experience of.

Regardless of how you have come to the decision that surrogacy is your path to parenthood, we are happy to have been entrusted to be part of your journey. It is with great commitment and care that we manage the trust that you have placed with us.

We are helping more parents than ever

One of our most important responsibilities is to educate and inform how the surrogacy process works. This year, it is with great pride and gratitude that we can say that we are helping more parents than ever.

This summer we finally had the opportunity to meet in person again and we had a great time during Pride week where we visited both Malmö and Copenhagen. During the autumn, we have also had time for several other meetings in Gothenburg, among other places.

Public opinion and awareness

Another important area is driving awareness and public opinion about surrogacy as a way of becoming a parent. That is why we regularly hold our own seminars, webinars and attend guest lectures that we get invited to. Below you can read more about some of the initiatives we have participated in.

This year we have participated in the awareness initiative “The road to parenthood” about different paths to parenthood where Nordic Surrogacy had the opportunity to represent parenthood through surrogacy. I the article a family who has done two surrogacy journeys with Nordic Surrogacy in Ukraine, was interviewed. Anneli Diehl, the mother interviewed, started working for Nordic Surrogacy during their second journey. She is well known to all of you who are undergoing a process in Ukraine.

Emma Dahlén at Dahlén Law Firm also does a fantastic job of highlighting the legal aspects of surrogacy. During December, she was invited to Norstedts Familjerätt 2021 as a specialist in surrogacy law to lecture on current issues and the latest developments in the legal area.

At the beginning of next year, Emma will also publish a book on the legal aspects of surrogacy.

Our organization is growing

In 2021, Nordic Surrogacy has grown in many areas. We have never helped as many new parents as this year and therefore we have also expanded our organization and our partnerships. In January we are welcoming a new team member to maintain and further improve our service to you.
